Revamping OKRs at a fast growing bootstrapped startup
❶ Design
We conducted an audit to gain a comprehensive understanding of how our client was using their Notion workspace. Then, we worked closely with their team to develop a customized strategy through a series of collaborative sessions. Using Miro, we outlined our findings and created a plan for the new workspace structure to better meet their needs.


❷ Implementation
Once the audit was complete, we created the new Objectives and Key Results (OKR) system to simplify the goal-setting process and track progress towards the company's primary initiatives in Notion. The system encompassed company-wide, team-wide, and personal OKRs. Each Objective was assigned an owner, a target date, and a status that indicates whether it has been started, in progress, or completed. The Key Results and Projects were linked to each Objective, and the progress was automatically tracked using Notion formulas.



❸ Documentation
After the OKR structure was completed in Notion, the Optimization team (Valentine) created a demo that explained the new structure.
