The two buttons you see right justified on most sections allow me to navigate the dashboard and respective sections easier.
I used a bunch of spaces to put these buttons inline with section titles:
- Open section in a full screen (see this): ⤢ → Show expanded view GIF
- Go to the top of the dashboard: ⇪
New Windows
I often open Notion in multiple windows, here's how:
cmd + shift + n
: open current page in new window
cmd + shift + click
: open selected page in new window
cmd + enter
: open selected page in quick search in a new window
Screen Sizes and dashboards
I have a 13 inch Macbook hooked up to an XDR display. In full-screen mode, Notion adjusts to the dimensions of the screen, so I have two version of the same dashboard. That was the titles with a bunch of aforementioned spaces don't overflow onto two lines.
